MY BIO -2004 Instead of me trying to be clever and writing a cutesy, unfunny bio or using the boring bio my manager wrote I thought Id reprint every bio Ive ever had from the different stages of my career. Note: these are real and WERE not WRITTEN BY MY BUDDY, PATTON OSWALT.
My first bio from the Laughs Unlimited International Unlimited Laff Riot Unlimited Competition Flyer (1988)
Brian The Pirhana Posehn has been wowing local crowds since he started comedy last year. The Pirhana brings a fuel-injected, good-time rock n roll vibe thatll have you wishing you invited him to your next beer party or summertime hang-out. You'll be quoting his incisive quips - Rambo? More like Ram-blow! A seasoned road comic at 22 years of age, hes performed both here at the Sacramento Laughs Unlimited and at our Davis location. Hes one of three rotating emcees on our Southern Northern California Laff Train tour, starting in July and featuring headliners Gary Muledeer, Shirley Good Times Hemphill and Mark V. McCullum (The Wabbit Slayer!). Poshen has also opened for Greg Kihn and George Lynch's Lynchmobb and is a regular on KZMQs Morning Zoo Asylum Funhouse Party Circus Monkey Fart Hour.
1992 bio (self-written)
Brians career has exploded since appearing on MTVs 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour. His TV appearance has led to feature performances at Cobbs, the Punchline in San Francisco and the Punchline in Sacramento. He also tri-headlined at Rooster T. Feathers, along with two other comedians he appeared with on MTVs 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour. His MTV 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour has also been broadcast overseas, and segments from his MTV 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour were also heard on the Alex Bennett show. One of the three reruns of his MTV 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour segment was broadcast directly after an episode of Yo! MTV Raps, which is a favorite show on the MTV network, where Brian has appeared on their 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour as a comedian.

Mr. Show bio (1998)
Brian Posehn was born in 1937 in Lakehurst, New Jersey. Known as The Baby Who Survived the Hindenburg!, he quickly became the toast of Broadway, and was soon writing sketches for Fanny Bryce, The Pep-Steppers, and a then-43 year-old Billy Crystal. Disillusioned by Evil Knievels failure to jump Snake Canyon in 1974, he retired from show business to devote his time to beekeeping. 24 years later, hes excited to be writing sketches for the television box, but is still keeping liquor in the attic in case Prohibition comes back. He is a Cancer.
Mr. Show fansite (2000)
(from a fat guy on the now-defunct www.emotionlotion.com Mr. Show fansite)
Brian Posehn: This guy was the hunchback, and the dude wearing the diaper in the Gibbons ads, and a bunch of other characters. I imdbd the guy, and it turns out he also wrote on Trashed and The Man Show, which both sucked. He was also on Empty Nest, Friends, Seinfeld, a shitload of cartoons (he was a cartoon bear in Brother Bear) and a bunch of shitty movies. But he was also on Just Shoot Me and Bernie Mac, which were good, so who knows? Still, the guys pretty funny, and I cant see him ending up on some shitty sitcom, much less creating one.

Brian Damage: Comedian Brian Posehn has parlayed his wildly popular Skittles Superbowl ad into a TV series at the WB. The 1/2 hour workplace comedy will involve the travails of a psychiatrist whos crazier than his patients, and usually ends up getting life advice from them. The cast is rounded out by Alan Havey, Judy Gold and Dat Phan. It will air Wednesdays at 8:30 after Oswalt My Gum! and before Capatch Things Up.
